Sharing the love with our wonderful NHS

This Valentine’s Day Castle Quay decided to recognise and celebrate the people doing incredible things in Banbury. The centre’s management team created three hampers full of sweet treats and goodies from the centre, which were presented to the Critical Care Unit staff at Horton General Hospital in time for 14 February. Items were kindly donated by the centre’s tenants, including Nothing But Footprints, WHSmith, Grape Tree, Costa, Pop, Boots and Holland & Barrett.

The centre has been touched by the community spirit shown by the people of Banbury, and the team at Castle Quay wanted to show their appreciation to the hard-working NHS staff in the Critical Care Unit at Horton General Hospital that have been caring for acutely unwell Covid patients. The hampers were delivered in a Covid secure manner to one of the team who work in the unit – they then shared the items with the critical care staff, who continue to work tirelessly to look after the health of people living in Banbury.
