Donate your Lockdown Creations for Charity
Castle Quay is organising its first ever charity silent auction and kindly asking you to donate any items you created during the UK’s lockdown. They wanted to do something positive and original that would showcase the incredible things people made during lockdown. Items will then be auctioned off in centre for charity from 17 August.
You should donate your creations including paintings, photographs, drawings and sculptures, to the centre’s Customer Service Desk between 1 – 14 August. Items will then be displayed in the centre from 17 August at the Lockdown Craft Gallery located on the corner of the M&S store opposite Clintons, for everyone to admire. Private bids can then be made for items inside the unit until 28 August, with bids starting at £10.
All funds raised from the sale will be donated to our charity partner The Sunshine Centre, who offer practical help, advice and guidance and emotional support to families in Banbury, ensuring children are happy and receive the best possible start in life. The Sunshine Centre is an incredibly important organisation in our community so we really hope we raise as much money as possible, while showcasing Banbury’s undiscovered artistic talent!
