Festive Town Light Display is Projected onto Castle Quay

Since 18 November an incredible winter Christmas light display has been projected onto the Cornhill entrance to Castle Quay. This was arranged by Banbury Town Council and Banbury Business Improvement District (BID), and replaces previous light switch-on events in the town and has helped bring some festive magic back to Banbury for all to enjoy in a socially distanced manner.

The Christmas themed light show will be projected on the Cornhill entrance to the centre from dusk until late every day until 28 December. You can get a sneak peak of what the projection looks like below.

A New Year display will also run from 29 December 2020 – 5 January 2021 and will again be projected onto the Cornhill entrance to Castle Quay. Shoppers and visitors can admire an uplifting and atmospheric light and music display to welcome in the New Year and reflect on 2020.
