Half Term Activities at Waterstones

Looking for some epic half-term activities in Banbury?

Waterstones Castle Quay has three engaging activites for kids to participate in from the 14th to the 23rd of February.

Treasure Hunt – Can you solve this Egyptian mystery? Inspired by “Hunt for the Golden Scarab”, our Children’s Book of the Month for February, kids can come into the bookshop and have a go on a little treasure hunt. Investigate and find the clues spread around the shop to discover the secret message!

Make your own bookmark – Create your very own, handcrafted bookmark so you never lose your page again! A different range of fun and artsy supplies will be available at our activities table for children to stop by and engage in a fun DIY activity.

The Search for Banbury’s favourite book! – Help us fill out our book of recommendations by submitting your favourite! We’re asking the children of Banbury to fill in “recommendation bookmarks” with their favourite books and 3 reasons to read it, we will then proudly display them in our shop. Can you help someone find a new favourite?
