Play Zone Re-Opens Bigger and Better
Welcome to the New Play Zone at Castle Quay!
We’re thrilled to announce that Castle Quay’s newly refurbished soft play area, The Play Zone, is now officially open! The grand opening took place on Saturday, 3rd August, with a representative from the Sunshine Centre and a local family cutting the ribbon.
Our refreshed Play Zone features cosy new furniture, including sofas and comfortable nursing chairs for mothers to rest and feed their babies. The play area has been enhanced with sensory zones and early years toys, providing a fantastic environment for little ones to explore and enjoy. The vibrant jungle animal theme adds a splash of colour and excitement, making the space even more engaging for children.
To celebrate the reopening, the People’s Theatre Collective treated us to free musical play performances of ‘A Home for Harmony’ from 26th to 29th July. Directed by Tristan Jackson-Pate, this delightful play follows the adventures of Sam and his loyal assistance dog, Bouncer. Written by Renata Allen with songs by Joshua Baldwin, the play was created in partnership with Dogs for Good – UK, an organisation dedicated to improving lives through connections with dogs. ‘A Home for Harmony’ continues to delight audiences at community venues across Oxfordshire.
The Play Zone is conveniently located near the JD store and is completely free for families to use. We invite you to bring your children and experience the fun and relaxation of our new space.
Come and join us at Castle Quay and let your little ones enjoy the magical Play Zone today!
