Join us on Tuesday, 7th April, as Castle Quay becomes a hub of creativity and canal-side fun. We’re celebrating the launch of our new community book project, the Banbury Canal Chronicles, with a day of free activities for the whole family.
What’s on:
- Recycled Canal Crafts with Orinoco: Get hands-on with the experts from Orinoco Banbury! Use recycled materials to create your own canal-themed masterpieces.
- Canal Chronicles Workshops: Need help with your book entry? Join our creative workshop to draw or write your story about Tooley’s Boatyard and the canal.
- Selfies with the Dancing Duck: Our mascot will be making appearances throughout the day for photos and high-fives!
- The Great Duck Trail: Embark on a hunt through 10 Castle Quay brands, scan the QR codes, and “Quack the Code” to win a boat trip on the Dancing Duck and a meal at The Light for a family of 4.
